The world we live in is made up of words.

How does that make you feel?

How can your words become a bigger part of the world?

In this 4-part workshop series, we will utilize songwriting, lyricism, and other linguistic crafts to explore how to create more enjoyable, purposeful, and powerful writing experiences in our lives. Together, we will do guided writing exercises, discuss the music in our lives, and explore strategies for expressing ourselves powerfully through language.

This workshop is ideal for young people interested in developing greater understandings of themselves as language artists (poets, MCs, writers, etc.) and learning to navigate the challenges they face when crafting language. It's also a great opportunity to meet and connect with other young people developing their written craft!
