Middle and high school students can now enroll in Youth on Record's Creative Enrichment Classes for Fall/Winter 2025.
Classes are led by professional teaching artists and meet once a week from November 3 - December 5.
Class offerings include:
Beatmaking
- Mondays, Middle School 4:20 - 5:20 pm & High School 5:30 - 6:45 pm
- Learn the basics of music production in Ableton 101, where you’ll explore beat-making, recording, and arranging your own tracks. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and we’ll help you turn your ideas into music!
Beginner Songwriting
- Available for 13-17 year olds
- Wednesdays, 4:45-6:30pm
- Dig into the fundamentals of songwriting by exploring song form, lyric writing, and basic music theory in a fun and supportive small group environment.
Piano Lab
- Thursdays, Middle School 4:15 - 5:00pm & High School 5:15 - 6:15pm
- Discover the fundamentals of piano while learning chords, melodies, and songs in a fun, supportive setting. No prior experience is required—just bring your curiosity and love for music!
To sign up, youth must first register as a Youth on Record program participant using this form.
Once registered, YOR will send a direct link to Acuity Scheduling which will allow youth to pick their creative enrichment classes.
