Middle and high school students can now enroll in Youth on Record's Creative Enrichment Classes for Winter 2026.
Classes are led by professional teaching artists and meet once a week from mid-January through February.
Class offerings during this session include:
Beatmaking
- January 12 - February 16
- Mondays, Middle School 4:20 - 5:20 pm & High School 5:30 - 6:45 pm
- Learn the basics of music production in Ableton 101, where you’ll explore beat-making, recording, and arranging your own tracks. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and we’ll help you turn your ideas into music!
Beginner Guitar
- January 15 - February 19
- Thursdays, Middle School 4:15 - 5:00pm & High School 5:15 - 6:15pm
- This small group class will introduce participants to the fundamentals of guitar, including chords, strumming, and songs. No prior experience is required—just bring your curiosity and love for music!
Future of Femme
- January 14 - February 18
- Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30pm
- Future of Femme is a six-week series where creativity becomes a language for belonging. Designed for femme-identified youth (ages 14–18), this program explores the intersections of identity, care, and activism through interdisciplinary artmaking and story.
To sign up, youth must first register as a Youth on Record program participant using this form.
Once registered, YOR will send a direct link to Acuity Scheduling which will allow youth to pick their creative enrichment classes.
