Two Youth on Record Team Members Accepted Into American Express Women in Music Leadership Academy
This virtual training was only offered to 24 emerging nonprofit leaders.
September 22, 2020 – Denver, CO: Youth on Record is excited to announce that two team members, Andrea Viarrial-Murphy and Mona Magno, are two of only 24 leaders accepted into the 2020 American Express Women in Music Leadership Academy.
“Youth on Record is committed to providing the tools to become the leaders of tomorrow, both for our students and our staff. We are thrilled that both Andrea and Mona are participating in this unique leadership and skills training program.” said Jami Duffy, Executive Director.
The American Express Women in Music Leadership Academy is produced in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), highly regarded as one of the foremost practitioners of leadership development education and research.
The goal of the Women in Music Leadership Academy is to train the current and next generation of female leaders in the music industry to successfully assume leadership positions within the next five to ten years, and to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities unique to the industry. Selected leaders will have the opportunity to learn the inter-personal and business skills necessary to lead effectively; network with fellow emerging and established leaders in the space; and work one-on-one with a personal CCL executive coach to bring their performance to the next level.
