Youth on Record's Rising Creatives initiative prepares, trains, and connects young creatives to careers across the entertainment industry, including music, media, sports, and live events.
Rising Creatives builds on YOR's long-running programming including the Fellowship, Media Arts program, Next Gen Booking, and more.
Launching in Spring 2027, participants will be able to enroll in stacked, credentialed, sequential learning across three Career Academies. Each Academy will include a 20-hour Career Foundations course on workplace expectations, financial literacy, networking, portfolio development, and career coaching.
The Live Events Academy through Get Loud Presents, YOR's event production initiative, offers young creatives hands-on training, certifications, and paid experience in event production, live sound, and entertainment, preparing them for a range of careers in the industry.
The Working Artist & Music Business Academy supports emerging musicians with artist development, paid performance opportunities, and mentorship while teaching music business fundamentals, marketing, and financial management to help them build lasting careers as working artists.
The Media Arts, Content + Recording Arts Academy prepares young creatives for digital media careers through hands-on, paid experience in photography, videography, audio editing, and storytelling, while helping them build professional portfolios and industry connections.
