Podcast Production Apprenticeship

The Podcast Production Apprenticeship is a paid workforce development opportunity for emerging producers, journalists, and storytellers, ages 18-26. Over 3-months, apprentices develop and deepen skills in audio production, storytelling, creative writing, interviewing, and project management through a critical lens. Program participants will receive technical training, professional development, and the chance to produce original audio pieces featured on Youth on Record podcasts. This is an in-person position with a few field interviews outside of the main hours. Upon completing this program, apprentices will have a portfolio of original audio recordings and the skills to produce original podcasts.
