"Nerf" Jeb Freedman's journey in radio, spanning over 25 years exclusively in Alternative Rock, began at the legendary KROQ in Los Angeles. Yet, it is in Denver where he truly made his mark, rising to become the RVP of Events and Strategic Partnerships and the Program Director at KTCL Channel 93.3.
Beyond the airwaves, Nerf's passion for music extends to his role on the board of directors at Youth on Record. There, he dedicates his expertise to nurturing Denver’s young creatives, providing them with access to music education and opportunities that foster their creative and personal growth.
You'll often find Nerf at Youth on Record events, from volunteering at their annual youth music festival YOR Fest, to sitting on a panel for the Get Loud Music Summit Demo Derby (below), to cheering on young artists at showcases throughout the year.
When the world feels loud, how can we help young people rise above the noise?
At Youth on Record, we’re getting loud about what helps young artists, what makes them feel hopeful in hard times, and how this community can most support them.
Now through December 9th (Colorado Gives Day!) our Get Loud for Good campaign invites you behind the scenes with the young people in Youth on Record’s programs.
