Kai Wilson

Kai Wilson is an artist, producer, and guitarist from Phoenix, Arizona. Kai got his footing in music by playing violin in his middle-school orchestra, and shortly after by learning guitar at School of Rock. Playing covers eventually got boring, so he set out to learn Music Production and eventually stumbled across CU Denver’s MEIS program.

Kai moved to Denver in 2021 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts from CU Denver in May 2025. He continues to make noise in the scene, releasing music and performing at venues around town.

Under his moniker, wulfsun, he breaks genre-barriers and seamlessly blends hip hop with echoes of emo and indie rock. You can easily recognize him as that one rapper with a guitar always strapped to his back. Being both a musician and hip hop artist allows him to easily connect and bring together communities, through both music and action.
