RAYANN!

Rayann Hussain (known professionally as RAYANN!) is a multi-media artist with a focus in music and poetry, releasing songs on all platforms and sharing her passion through open mic nights. In 2020, RAYANN! debuted her first original song, "chronic", which has amassed over 20,000 SoundCloud streams.

The following year Hussain released another track entitled "suburbia" that doubled the previous release in streams. Rayann started in music as a 6th-grade violinist, eventually transitioning to percussion before learning to produce beats in GarageBand. Rayann got into poetry at around the same time in middle school. Out of a raging yearning for
expression, they picked up a guitar at 15 years old and started writing songs. Since then, Hussain has been soaking up inspiration at local punk shows, and performing anywhere that will let her. In addition to her creative pursuits, Rayann likes to spend her free time playing with their cats, falling at the skatepark, and making friends with strangers.
